We nurses work hard and are actually deal with more stress and disrespect than MD's or any medical provider especially in these political times. We listen better and are on the front line each day. Research shows the American public trusts nurses more than any other health care professional because we LISTEN AND SHOW WE CARE. We are the original patient advocates and this is why we went into nursing and tolerate all the aggravation. Helping patients stay, regain or achieve health and wellness, convoless or die with dignity is what fuels us.
