Eve W. Jacobs, MSN, CRNP, WHNP-BC, is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner at Women Wise Holistic Healthcare and Wellness in the Roxborough neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is specifically board certified in women's health by the National Certification Corporation, the main professional body that allows OB/GYN specifically trained and prepared NP's to qualify to take the national exam. A WHNP-BC credential signifies specialized, in-depth education and training specifically in women’s reproductive, obstetric, and gynecological health. She takes pride in serving the people of Roxborough and Philadelphia with holistic, integrative, functional, evidence-based, intuitive, and high-quality care
Eve moved to Pennsylvania to pursue her career in medicine. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a master’s in nursing. Her dream has always been to create her own collaborative women’s health practice.
Eve was one of the first Nurse Practitioners in the country to perform colposcopy to evaluate abnormal pap smears. In addition, she was trained by Thomas V. Sedlacek, a Gynecologic Oncologist who was president of the National Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP).
She has worked in obstetrics, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, infertility, reproductive endocrinology and spent 18 plus years in college and teen health.
Growing up in Colorado, being environmentally conscious and having a low carbon footprint is tremendously important to Eve. She designed the practice with many upcycled, repurposed, and recycled items to be consistent with her environmental values.
Through her many years of professional experience, Eve has concluded that the medical and insurance-based healthcare system is often problem-focused and relies on patient volume instead of valuing the quality of the patient-focused experience. Her own frustrations, combined with patient comments, inspired her to create the changes she wished to see.
Eve built her practice to provide the kind of care that she would want to receive. She has created a space unlike any other practice you will find and has carefully selected a team that shares her vision and values.
In recognition of her dedication and excellence in women’s health, Eve was named Best Nurse Practitioner in Medicine by Pennsylvania Magazine for 2024. This accolade is a testament to her passion, genuine concern for her patients, and her unwavering commitment to delivering highly personalized care. Through her focus on empowering women in both their health and life journeys, Eve has achieved transformative, meaningful outcomes that have made a lasting impact.
She warmly welcomes patients into Women Wise Holistic Healthcare and Wellness.
